About Me
My calling began as a medical massage therapist in 1987, an experience that affirmed what I knew intuitively: how the body and mind interact is central to what it is to be a human being. This is the terrain of body centered practices.
Swiss psychologist CG Jung said: “Often the hands solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.”
We embody our stories. All of who we are is present in each moment, each movement, and each breath. What I know in my bones is the body isn’t an obstacle to peace, it’s a gateway to it.
Somatic practices offer another way into our lived experience. Not bypassing the mind, but releasing it downward, into the lived wisdom of the body.
I offer guided contemplative and self-exploratory practices for reflection and personal growth. This is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. I may recommend additional support when your concerns fall outside my role..
